It was a busy weekend of 70.3 racing for professional Ironman triathletes all over the country.
Let's start in the West.
On Saturday both Boulder, Colorado based Brit Julie Dibens and Aussie Craig Alexander proved that they are up for any challenge by winning the Ironman 70.3 in Boise.
Alexander won the race by a very close 10 seconds after he out ran American Ben Hoffman to the take the ribbon (see video below).
On the women's side it was Dibens who took the early lead and held on to the end to take the win ahead of a hard charging Linsey Corbin.

On Sunday the Ironman action moved across the country to Cambridge, MD at the Ironman 70.3 Eagleman.
On the men's side of the race it was Kiwi Terenzo Bozzone who ran down Andrew Yoder to take the Gold. Yoder is a young up and coming newbie who's quickly making a name for himself by easily mixing it up with the best and most accomplished veterans of the sport.
On the women's side of the race it was another Kiwi. This time Samantha Warriner showed that she had what it takes to win big by coming out of the water first, and staying out in front during the race until she crossed the finish line in a time of 4:20:01.
