Dara Torres isn't ready to hang up her Speedo quite yet. In fact she's far from retiring.
The 41-year-old Beijing Olympics star is set to compete at the Austin Grand Prix on March 5-7 in Texas.
Torres won three silver medals at the Beijing Olympic games in the 50-meter freestyle and two relay races, and in the process becoming the oldest medalist in the history of Olympic swimming.
Torres
is swimming in Austin next month with an eye to the world championships
in Rome this summer, and a possible attempt at swimming in the 2012
Olympics in London.
According to the Associated Press:
"Ten
members of the U.S. Olympic team will take part in the Texas meet,
including gold medalist Aaron Peirsol, also competing for the first
time since the Olympics."
