According to Wikipedia, "In 2005, he became the third American to wear the leader's jersey at the Tour de France, after three-time Tour winner Greg Lemond, and seven-time winner Lance Armstrong. George Hincapie and Floyd Landis became the fourth and fifth Americans in 2006"
Zabriskie has also posted a tweet for help, "If anyone out there sees anything you think might be mine, let me know. Thanks...DZ"
According to CNN:
"The Police Executive Research Forum, released a survey in January showing that 44 percent of police departments reported increases in crimes they believed could be attributed to the economic crisis.
Of the departments surveyed, 39 percent reported an increase in robberies, and 32 percent said they had seen a rise in burglaries."
Lance Armstrong also had his time trail bike stolen while competing last week at the Tour of California.
What do you think?
Was this just bad luck, or did the burglars know who's house it was, and where Zabriskie was?
