Breaking News: Lance Armstrong on racing Ironman: "I want to do it as fast as I can"

After many years of speculation Lance Armstrong has confirmed that he wants to race an Ironman after finishing his cycling comeback and career.

According to published reports when speaking with Outside Magazine about his Ironman ambitions, Armstrong said "Whenever I'm done with this (comeback). I can unequivocally say yes to that."

The 2009 fittest/fattest cities in America

Apparently this image of the beaches of Miami, Florida is completely misleading.

OK, the beach is part is correct, but certainly not the skinny bikini clad bathers---unless they are tourist from Salt Lake City.

Today Men's Fitness Magazine in its 11th annual survey selected Miami, Florida as the fattest city in the United states.

On the other end of the scale the magazine also selected Salt Lake City, Utah as the fittest city in the states.

Way inside triathlon by Roman Mica

In this post entitled "looking for clues" on tean TBB's forum triathlon coach Brett "Doc" Sutton makes one of his first public statements since his star triathlete, Chrissie Wellington, switched to Boulder based triathlon coach Simon Lessing.

Sutton takes a somewhat public swipe at Ironman Word Champions Mark Allen and Chrissie Wellington. Sutton coaches many of the top professional triathletes today and works with Team TBB in the Philippines. So far team TBB has won seven Ironman titles and two Ironman 70.3 titles in 2008.

Sutton is also most infamously known for a sexual scandal with a swimmer he coached in his home country of Australia. According to Outside Magazine:

Everyman Ultraman Podcast on battling extreme adversity

Jason Lester and Todd Crandell know a lot about battling adversity.

Both men recently completed the 2008 Ultraman World Championships in Hawaii.

But that's not what makes these athletes two sides of the same coin.

When he was just 12-years-old Jason Lester was riding his bike when he was hit by a car traveling 80 miles per hour and thrown 130 feet in the air.

Triathlete designed faster swimsuit is making waves

Next month you'll be able to purchase this new super-stretchy Rocket Skin swim suit which has just entered the skirmish into the ongoing swimsuit technology battle and controversy.

The new suite is the brainchild of triathlete Marcin Sochacki, who says the suite is faster than Speedo's LZR swimsuit worn by the fastest swimmers at the Beijing Olympics this year.

His Austin, Texas based company received approval from FINA in September for the new swimsuit, and the company is ready to start selling the suit for $300 to $399 to anyone with the funds to go fast. Unlike Speedo's LZR, the Rocket Science Sports suite has long sleeves, so it covers more of the body in that low-drag material.

Michael Phelps is reportedly back in China filming a television commercial for Mazda.

The superstar of the Being Olympics is by recent media accounts getting paid over a million dollars to endorse the Mazda brand in China.
