Victoria, BC, Canada: Five-time Ironman Champion Heather Gollnick has joined forces with LifeSport Coach Paul Regensburg and an impressive line up of current LifeSport Pro Team athletes. Gollnick is an extremely popular athlete and mother of three, whose results include Ironman wins in Arizona, Louisville, Coeur D’Alene, and Wisconsin (twice).
Gollnick has also been the top American finisher at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii but is still looking to crack the top 10, finishing either 11th or 12th on three different occasions. Gollnick’s LifeSport teammates will include the likes of top US finisher in Hawaii this year Linsey Corbin, Lisa Bentley, Bree Wee, and Katya Meyers.
Coach Paul Regensburg commented, "I am very excited to be working with someone of Heather’s calibre. Our mission will be simple - compete for the podium in Hawaii. Heather brings a championship mentality to our Pro Team and is also an incredible person and role model for the LifeSport age group athletes."
Gollnick "I am looking forward to working with Paul and the LifeSport Team. This is the right step for me at this stage of my career. My success to date has been achieved primarily on my own so being able to access camps, new training methods, awesome teammates, and have a great coach in my corner will provide me a big advantage when I line up at the start in Hawaii."
