Danny Dreyer has been a regular runner since 1971 and a running coach since 1985. He has run 40 ultra marathons (39 of which he placed in the top 3 in age group). In 2004 with the launch of the ChiRunning business, he began to run Marathons instead of ultras.
He has now run 6 marathons (including Boston) with times ranging from 3:04 to 3:35.

His love for running is equal to his love of t'ai chi, which he has been practicing since 1996.

Danny's goal is to bring awareness to all runners, walkers and anyone interested in staying fit, a way to accomplish their goals in a safe and systematic way.
He promotes running and walking as mindful practices and not simply fitness regimens. In this way, he believes, anyone can use these everyday activities as a vehicle for fitness as well as for personal growth.
