Ladies and Gentlemen please start your blogging!
Last week we announced the 2008 Top Ten Sports Endurance Blogs, and the competition began with a bang as well over 700 votes were cast in the first few days.
To help you decide who should get the Bronze, Silver, and Gold ribbons for 2008 we are providing you with a round-up of the Top Ten Best Blogs (in no particular order).
Over the next ten days we'll be featuring the Top 10 Best Blog of 2008 to help make it easier for you to vote.
Today, we continue the Best Blog round-up with the Blog: A Code Geek's Tail
We suspects that it is posts like THIS recent post in which Wes describes his experience at Ironman Florida.
Wes writes, "The turn around looked oh so delicious. I made the turn and crossed the map with a beep. Some poor guy didn't get a beep and had to ride over it twice. With the wind at my back, it was now game on. Coach had talked to me about negative splitting the ride. Usually, when she says things like that, I'm a bit skeptical. I usually don't have the strength to or patience to do that. With the wind at my back and the flatness of the road ahead, I decided to kick it up a notch."
If you want to know what racing Ironman Florida is like, you'd be hard pressed to find a better race report that dots all of the i's and crosses all of the t's. Wes put you on his shoulders for the swim, bike and run and much much more.
