Professional Triathlete Hilary Biscay is leaving her coach (Brett Sutton) and her team (TBB) and forming a new team along with Ironman two-time World Champion Chrissie Wellington and Belinda Granger. The new team will be headquartered in Tuscon, Arizona.
From Hillary Biscay's blog today:
"I am really excited to announce that my best friends and training partners, Belinda Granger and Chrissie Wellington, and I will be forming a new squad under the direction of renowned coach Cliff English.
Cliff has years of experience working with many top ITU and Ironman athletes, including Simon Whitfield, Peter Reid, and Leanda Cave; and most recently, he spent two years as the USA Triathlon Elite National Team Coach. But he is perhaps now best known for being Sam McGlone’s coach, and Belinda, Chrissie, and I are thrilled about the opportunity join forces with such an accomplished and tough athlete.
Conveniently, Cliff lives down the road from me in Tucson! Our new squad plans to train in the camp environment, just as we have over the past couple of years. We will begin our new adventure with camps in Tucson and in Belinda’s home, the Sunshine Coast of Australia."
