5) Your imagination may be the best tool your brain has for healthy living.
So you want to eat that high calorie snack food: Guess what? So does everyone else. Sort of. The key isn’t deciding not to want it; rather it is in finding what you want even more. What will losing and maintaining your weight give you that junk food can’t? Imagine your goals, your desires, your results. Decide what you want from your body and then ask yourself: Do I really want this snack food more than that? Food Cravings are just your brain imagining some junk food too vividly. Counter-crave your food cravings with positive cravings for health, fitness, and your desired results.
4) Your body has no imagination.
Your body doesn’t care if your brain says it’s on a diet but then acts like it isn’t. On the other hand, if you are eating well and exercising, then your body can’t imagine new pounds – it will lose weight. All that matters is the activity. The results will be there. Enjoy the ride.
3) Oops isn’t over.
Everyone makes mistakes. Just learn from it and get back on track. If you tripped and stubbed your toe you probably wouldn’t tell yourself, “Well my toe is hurt for today so I might as well hit it with a rock for the rest of the day and then start taking care of it again tomorrow.” Go back to number 5 on this list and remember what you really want out of healthy living. Then go back to living healthily.

Losing weight feels good. So will keeping the weight off. If you stick with your healthy habits then you will keep your healthy results.

As much as I wish it were otherwise, no top 10 list is going to give you that special secret that makes healthy weight loss effortless and immediate. You already know what to do. Success is more about action than information. Go make it happen.
