He is Simon Lessing and this weekend he’s racing for the last time as a professional triathlete at the Ironman Bighorn 70.3 in Austin Texas. After a career that has spanned over 23-years, Simon will be hanging up racing shoes to go into coaching with his new company bouldercoaching.
I recently had a chance to sit down with him of a warm Boulder, Colorado afternoon and discuss his long career and his thoughts on the where triathlon began and where the sport is going.
