I got an email from John today asking about team RaceAthlete and how to join us in 2007. As you may know, we (by we I mean me and several other Bloggers and Podcasters) are putting together Team raceAthlete.

Anyway John wanted to know more information about the team and his email contained this really fun triathlon signature file. A signature file can be just a small animated image that displays below your signature when you send an email.
The one John had was way cool so I email him and asked him if I could steal it.
This is what he wrote back:
"The animated gif is nice, isn’t it? Notice that the banner does not say “Finish.” Instead, it reads what you probably saw in Austria, “Ziel.” In other words, it must have been created by someone whose mother tongue is Deutsche. You’re welcome to steal it from me, as I stole it from the Kansas City tri club, and I’m sure someone there stole it from a European site."
So I did what any happy-go-lucky Blogger would do and I stole it, and changed it around a bit to promote raceAthlete.com
