The 2006 Chicago Triathlon is now in the books and I didn't crack like a walnut.
In fact I pretty well. I got a personal best for the Olympic distance of 2:39:26 and 551 of 3708 overall
Best of all I took second in my class which I think means I won some sort of award for being the second fastest Clydesdale in a class of 43-year-old, guys from Boulder, Colorado, racing in blue with green eyes and dark hair, and a slim mustache;-)
My lovely wife also set a PB with a terrific time of 2:51:21.
Now ain't that a corker?
