We here at Everyman Triathlon will spare no expense to bring you interviews with the best and most interesting people in triathlon from all around the globe. All right just kidding about the expense part.
Actually on a cold a snowy day here in Boulder, Colorado I sat down with Wes Hobson over a cup of herbal tea to discuss the best way to train over the winter, plus get some tips for the 2006 race season and discuss some basic Newbie mistakes from his previous story HERE.
Wes has competed in over 220 triathlons since 1983, from Sprint distance to Ironman distance. During his twelve year professional career, Wes was selected "Triathlete of the Year" by the United States Olympic Committee.
He has won too many races to mention, but I suspect one of his proudest moments, was when he won the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Fran.
So sit back and enjoy this 10 minute Everyman interview with Wes by clicking the play tab below or download the MP3 version (by clicking on the MP3 link) and listen to it on your iPod in the gym.
