The 2012 Ironman World Championships are the ultimate test of endurance. This year almost 2000 amateur athletes put themselves to the test against the clock, the weather, and of course themselves. Among the professional triathletes who came to Kona, Hawaii to this year are past Ironman World champions Craig Alexander, Chris Macca McCormack and Mirinda Carfrae to name just a few.
