Lance Armstrong proved today that he's a new and serious very force to be dealt with on the Ironman World Stage by winning the 9th annual Honu Ironman 70.3 in a record time of 3:50:55.
The seven time Tour de France Champion won his second Ironman 70.3 race by completely crushing the bike segment and cruising in to victory on the run. Check out as Armstrong crosses the line for the win in the video above.
Armstrong soundly beat longtime Ironman champion Chris Lieto as well as ITU short course star Greg Bennett on his way to a return to triathlon racing.
On the women's side the day belonged to Linsey Corbin also blazed the bike segment beating Julia Grant of New Zealand to win the race in a time of 4:30:17.
