Andrew Messick, the CEO of the World Triathlon Corporation, makes some pretty forceful predictions about the future of Ironman in this video at this year's Triathlon America industry conference. But perhaps the most interesting thing he says as part of his keynote speech is that next IM 70.3 in Galveston Texas "will be the single largest triathlon event on the continental U.S....ever"
Why?
Because of course Lance Armstrong is racing.
