Ironman Champion Graig Alexander will race the very first IM Melbourne in just a few weeks. That's a very early season Ironman race for the Australian champion who normally builds up slowly to the full distance races.
But not this year as the new WTC rules mandate that IM athletes have to qualify for Kona via winning points througout the racing season.
