"He's one of the guys you're going to have to go through to win the race," said Australian defending Hawaiian Ironman triathlon champion Craig Alexander in a recent interview.
Alexander went on to talk about Lance Armstrong after the seven time World Champion took second place at the IM 70.3 triathlon race in Panama this past weekend:
"He's one of the greatest endurance athletes ever, isn't he, last time I checked? Lance showed he's not mucking around."
"Good luck to him and you know what? If you're going to beat him, you're going to have to lift your game," Alexander added.
"He'll be first off the bike, no question, and he'll do it in a way that doesn't hurt him too much, either."
Craig Alexander is a three time Ironman World Champion and he won the Hawaiin race last year becoming only the fourth Aussie to win the Ironman World Championships.
