1BandID is a new wearable athlete ID designed for triathletes, runners, cyclists, swimmers and all active people. 1BandID provides first responders and medical personnel with critical emergency contact and medical or allergy information if you’re unconscious or unable to speak and cannot communicate after an accident or injury.

Instead of nylon, 1BandID’s band is made from neoprene like your wetsuit for maximum resistance to water and just enough stretch. It is available in seven colors (black, orange, red, yellow, pink, green and blue). Its stainless steel tag can be clearly laser-engraved with up to 6 lines of 20 characters per line. There is even room to include a team name.

I created 1BandID because I’m probably just like you. I have a passion for triathlon, but more importantly I have a family and people that I care about when they go out for a run and they care about me when I’m on the road, in the water or on the trails.
In the past, if I remembered, I tucked my driver’s license into a pocket before heading out the door. Even worse, I’ve said I’ll be fine; I’ll just stay close to home. I laced up my shoes and off I went.
I’ve even owned other ID bracelets in the past. In the end they were just another thing to find and put on before heading out the door. So I set out to change that ID is designed – to use what you wear already.
With 1BandID you can confidently train because it will be there to provide first responders with important information that could save your life as well as enable them to contact someone close to you even if you can’t.
