Professional triathlete Joe Gambles trains in Boulder, Colorado and now he also wins in Boulder, Colorado. The Tasmanian triathlete won Ironman 70.3 Boulder in his new hometown in a time of 3:45:35
He was followed across the line by Nederland, Colorado based South African Raynard Tissink in a time of 3:51:41 and fellow Aussie Paul Ambrose in a time of 3:53:01.
EverymanTRI cameras were at the race and captured the moment as Gambles crossed the finishline to win his adopted hometown race today. A very happy Gambles was met by former Ironman 70.3 Boulder winner Tim O'Donnell who was at the race to see if his 2009 record race time was in peril.
