Australian pro triathlete Luke Bell brought it home with a fast run to win the 2011 Rohto Ironman 70.3 Hawaii in 3:58:14, in the process moving up one place on the podium over last year's second place finish.
Bell had a lighting fast (and race-best run time of 1:18:58) to cross the finishline ahead of hard charging brothers Chris (second) and Matt (third) Lieto.
On the women's side of the race it was hometown girl Bree Wee who started with a race-best 27:43 swim time to eventually win the day in 4:42:32.
Wee crossed the line ahead of amateur triathlete Sheila Croft who finished about ten minutes behind the hometown girl.
