Octavio Orduno, of Long Beach, CA, was born in 1908, the same year that the Ford Motor Company began production on the Model T. But Octavio prefers to pedal.
Last week, The Los Angeles Times profiled him on his 103rd birthday on Monday, and referred to him as a great role-model of healthy living and biking, and of course also, the "oldest cyclist in the world."
Octavio rides every day in his neighborhood, and recently traded in his street-bike for a three-wheeler (which helps with balance), "I can ride this bike all day long," he says.
