Let's just be very clear.
Nissan has pretty much already sold out of the 2011 all-electric Leafs.
They have over 10,000 reservations on their books and tens of thousands of more people have expressed interest in buying the eco friendly zero emission car.
So the question is not will the Leaf sell?

I've created a few simple phrases that I can learn the meaning of when I'm outside the pool, then, then when I'm swimming, I can simply pull these phrases into my head without having to focus too much on big sentence and paragraph-based swimming cues. So, without further ado, here are weird words that will make you swim faster!
* You can read part 1 HERE.
Swim Faster #5 - Puppet Elbow:
Imagine that your elbow is attached to a puppet string that is pulling it straight out of the water in the recovery phase of the stroke. A full elbow recovery is very important, especially in choppy, open-water swimming, where a partially submerged arm in the recovery phase will quickly tire you out because of increased drag.

France's Sylvain Sudrie and England's Leanda Cave both lead from start to finish to win the 2010 Rohto Ironman 70.3 Miami under very hot and humid conditions.
On a hot and muggy day Frances Sylvain Sudrie braved strong water currents to take the win in a time of 4:00:41 over Great Britain's Paul Amey.
"It was difficult for me because I just arrived [Friday] from France," said Sudrie, who nonetheless led after each leg of the race. "The run was very hard with the heat."

As you've probably realized, your IQ drops when you exercise, and nowhere is this more true than when you're trying to swim faster. So while reading a treatise on the biomechanics of a proper swim stroke may be simple when you're sitting at the kitchen table, once you've jumped in the water and are huffing and puffing, you can barely remember anything you read or learned. This is where some weird words come in handy.

Jarrod Shoemaker is a professional triathlete first and a big baseball fan second.
Of course as a triathlete he spends much more time in the pool, on his bike and out on the roads than he does at the ballpark.
Shoemaker is one of America's most successful ITU triathletes and that means he has a grueling flight schedule traveling from country to country and race to race.
Of course the one place that Jarrod really wants to be is London in 2012.
He has set his sights on a repeat appearance at the Olympics, and with London just two years away it means he's got his work cut out for him.
Roman Mica recently had a chance to chat with Jarrod about this current year of racing and how he plans to qualify for a ticket to London.

Please come close.
Just a bit closer because we have a huge secret that the World Triathlon Corporation (the folks who run the Ironman race series) don't want you to know.
We'll whisper it to.
Ready?
OK, here it is...the world triathlon corporation doesn't own the Ironman brand.

Ben Fertic is the President and CEO of World Triathlon Corporation.
We suspect he's also the guy taking much of the heat for the recently announced and now suddenly canceled Ironman Access.
In this video (see below) released today by Ironman, Fertic explains and aplogizes for the debacle that was Ironman Access.

Full disclosure: were sort of guilty for starting today's rumor from our 2009 Kona video (see below).
Here's the scoop as best as we can figure out...a number of web sites today including the official Team Radioshack News web site used the video below were Chris Carmichael speaking to us back in 2009 before the IM World Championships says about Lanca Armstrong, “2011, [Lance Armstrong] will be here. He’s super psyched and I think he wants to do more than win his age group.”
Which of course begs the question if the editors at the Team RadioShack Cycling News web site know something new that we don't know about Lance's 2011 plans.
As far as we can officially report (this year) Armstrongs has only officially committed to racing the Tour Down Under (next year) as an international farewell appearance.
But if you want a wild ass rumor we'll be happy to pass one along.

Awesome you say? Well, it comes at a price. For one year it will lighten your wallet by $1000.00. Yes, not $100.00, but add a zero to get $1000.00.
