Editor's Note: This week our sister blog (TFLcar.com) staged an endurance race. While it did not involve swimming, biking, or running...it was still exciting and a lot of fun to watch. Check it out below.
Car or airplane?
That's a question that many people still ask themselves when traveling.
It takes four hours to drive from Boulder to Aspen, Colorado.
It takes under a half hour to fly from Boulder to Aspen, Colorado, but when you figure the travel time to the airport, parking, going through security and the rest of the rigmarole associated with flying commercially it really takes about 4 hours to fly to Aspen.
So what's is faster...driving or flying?
We decided to find out by racing the most powerful production Mustang ever built, a 2011 Ford Shelby GT 500, to Aspen against a commercial flight.
You can watch the first part of this epic Rocky Mountain Race below and/or you can view part 2 on youtube HERE.
