And as in previous years Rainmaker combines great photos, with the latest use of technology and a funny and smart writing style to really engage the his reader in his various adventures.

Now we know that in this photo it appears that the wrong person is wearing the Batman Speedo, but trust us when we say that Steve never disappoints when it comes to wearing a Speedo, Cow costume, or any number of silly and fun outfits...and best of all he's the guy also racing in them.

This year his fun, entertaining, and heart-felt blog did not disappoint as it introduced us to a fun band of friends and family that seem to thrive on living life to the fullest....be that racing, eating, or just celebrating life.

Think of this blog as the crazy fun family that you don't have, but wish you had.

So Steve thanks for another year of making us laugh so much it hurt, and please keep up the great work.

You make being crazy creative and fun seem effortless, and we know how hard that is to keep up year after year.

First of all let's get this out of the way immediately. Fat Cyclist is not fat what-so-ever even though his nickname (Fatty) would suggest otherwise. In fact, Fatty is incredibly fit as THIS post clearly proves as he keeps up with Lance Armstrong and the boys of team Radio Shack up MT. Lemon in Tucson.

But besides being very fit...Fatty is also a very talented and humble writer. Over the course of the last several years he's brought us into his home and shared the most intimate, funny, triumphant, silly, and painful moments of his life.

There is no other blogger on the internet that can make you go from crying to laughing in the space of a handful of well written lines.

But his accomplishments go beyond just entertainment. Over the year's he's also helped raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research as well as given away too much stuff, and too many bikes to count.

For his kind heart and hilarious sense of humor he deserves to be on any list of the best blogs of 2009 and not just ones dedicated to endurance sports.
