Gary Brasher is a a 51-year-old real estate executive from Tubac, Arizona who finished Ford Ironman Arizona in an official time of 14-hours and 12-minutes.
More importantly he did it after finishing two self-supported Ironman races the two days before IMAZ.
According to Brasher's web site that was his third Ironman in three days.
"We did it!! Thank you to you all for your prayers and Glory be to God for answering prayer and for any surplus that comes from this event!" Brasher wrote on twitter.
So how did he complete three races in three days?
According to azcentral.com:
Brasher did two Ironman distance races on his own the two days before Ironman Arizona with his coach using a GPS device and a journal to make sure he completed every mile.
Brasher's goal is to raise money and awareness for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and to promote positive role models for today's youth.
