Actress and Desperate House wife Teri Hatcher can now cross out triathlon from her bucket list.
The 44-year-old triathlete completed the Nautica Malibu Triathlon in style as she swam, biked, and ran in an effort to raise $10,000 dollars for the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.
On her blog she wrote:
"My dear friends, In all my spare time, Ha Ha, I recently accepted the challenge of participating in the fundraising efforts surrounding the Nautica Malibu Triathlon. I have single handedly taken my carbon footprint significantly down by riding my bike to work at least 3 times a week. I'm running on my treadmill so I've had to find room in my closet for the clothes that normally hang on it, and I'm swimming 50 to 80 laps in my pool. Thus the pool no longer serves as a leaf and bee catcher."
"Each year the Nautica Malibu Triathlon raises the bar a little bit higher," said Karen Murray, president of Nautica, in a statement. "We're thrilled to congratulate the winners but much more than that, we're truly excited and grateful for the opportunity to help the patients, families and researchers at Children's Hospital Los Angeles who inspire us to swim, bike and run our hearts out every year."
Hatcher was among other celebrity athletes that competed in this year's race including Mario Lopez.
