Finman's fins up for eBay auction to benefit Blazeman ALS foundation

They say that every cloud has a silver lining.

But you already know that well worn cliche.

But in the strange, troubling and now told story of Finman, who recently identified himself, this cloud's silver lining has two names.

And those names are life guard Tim Johnson and pro triathlete Leanda Cave.

You see Tim Johnson is the guy who confiscated the fins from Frank Cardia (aka Finman) at last year's Ironman Florida.

And Leanda Cave, as it happens, is helping to organize an eBay auction to help raise money for the ALS Blazeman Foundation.

Can you see where this is going?

New Miami Ironman 70.3 set to debut today for Oct. 30, 2010

Orlando Florida has a 70.3 Ironman race so why not the larger Florida city of Miami.

According to published reports, Miami, Florida will gets it day in the Ironman sunshine next year on the perhaps somewhat spooky day of October 30, 2010.

The race is scheduled to be announced today and yes it is being held on a Sunday (the day right before Halloween of 2010.)
