Is Stephen Colbert of Comedy Centrals Colbert Report a runner?
Don't know.
But the TV comedian will soon have a treadmill named after him circling the earth.
It was supposed to be a new module at the International Space Station, but instead NASA choose to name a new treadmill (the second one to be installed at the space station) after Colbert calling it the:
Combined Operational Load Bearing External Resistance Treadmill - C.O.L.B.E.R.T.
You see fans of the Colbert Report won a NASA contest to name the new module by casting the most votes for the name Colbert, but NASA instead chickened out (or something) calling the module "Tranquility," reserving "Colbert" for the treadmill.
Tranquility, really?
BORING!
The shuttle Discovery with the new C.O.L.B.E.R.T. is slated to launch Tuesday at 1:36 a.m. EDT (0536 GMT) from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida to begin a 13-day mission to the International Space Station," according to Space.com.
