As you may recall Christopher Long, 30, made the news last summer when he was body-slammed by a New York City rookie police officer from his bike while he was taking part in a Critical Mass bike ride in in the city
After several million people saw this youtube video (below) the "you know what" hit the fan in NYC.
The rookie police officer, Patrick Pogan, 23,was fired and eventually indicted for the blatant tackle.
But now, as many could have guessed, Long has found legal council, and in papers filed this week is suing the city of New York for $1.5 million for trying to cover up the truth of the of incident.
As for Long himself, according to the New York Daily News:
"Long is living in rural Wisconsin and working on a farm," said his attorney Jonathan Moore.
"There is psychological trauma, which explains why he is not living in New York City right now," Moore added.
"It is a terrible experience for him to go through."
