In yet another remarkable performance Chrissy Wellington won the second annual Kansas 70.3 races to beat out Australian Pip Taylor.

Just like at Kona last year Wellington punctured on the bike but still managed the fastest bike split of the day for the women. Coming out of the water in second she still managed to dominate the bike and swim to cruise to her first place finish.
On the men's side it was all Luke Bell who had the fastest bike and run times to win the race.
