Mirror in the Bathroom” and “Save it for Later," are just two songs
from the 80's Band the English Beat that will have runners at the end
of the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon dancing.
OK, perhaps dancing is too strong of a word, but the finishers will certainly be swaying to the band.
According to the race's web site:
"Famous
for their fusion of soul, reggae, rock and punk, the six member band
has a great dance beat celebrated by fans everywhere.
Based on participant feedback, the Headliner Concert has moved to the finish line festival at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot shortly after the race. The free show will be open to participants, family, friends and the general public."
